4. INUIT CARVED SCULPTURE by ENA ITULU – HUNTER STANDING ON SEAL – LAKE HARBOR 1976 – 15″ HIGH

Item Description: This is a 2 piece Inuit carved sculpture made by Ena Itulu in 1976 from Lake Harbor. It depicts a hunter standing on a seal, altogether measuring 15 inches tall. There is a tiny portion of the seals foot missing (see close-up photo), otherwise it is in excellent condition.

Item Description: The Lost Paradise by John Milton. Illustrated with 24 mezzotint engravings. Published by Charles Tilt, London, 1838. Printed by Charles Whittingham, Tooks Court, Chancery Lane. Octavo bound in green leather with 5 raised bands, gilt floral decorations on boards, all edges gilt, & gilt inner dentelles. Visible edgewear to the solid binding, otherwise internally a tight, crisp and clean. Condition is very good plus for an almost 200 year old tome. A fine copy in a very good binding. Presentation inscription in pencil to Mrs. Redpath dated 1842. Included is the sticker from where the book was purchased: Montreal Depository for Religious Publications, WIlliam Greig, 197 St. Paul Street.

This is the December 1966 S4 VOL. 1 NO. 3 issue of Aspen Magazine published bimonthly by Roaring Fork Press Inc., 107 Waverly Place, N.Y.

This Pop Art boxed issue resembles a Fab detergent box, very much in the style of Andy Warhol, who along with David Dalton designed this issue. All 11 sections of various loose items are present and include art by such great artists as de Kooning, Oldenburg, Lichtenstein, Warhol, etc… Also included is a 33-1/3 RPM recording by The Velvet Underground “LOOP” written by John Cale on side 2. Side 1 is a Peter Walker recording “WHITE WIND”. Overall condition is very good plus with visible wear of the FAB box (see all photos). All 11 sections within the box are in very good plus condition. This item is of utmost interest to collectors of Andy Warhol memorabilia. They are not making things like this anymore. Priced at half of the present asking market value – don’t miss out on this opportunity.
8. CARL POUL PETERSEN HAND MADE STERLING SILVER CANDLE HOLDERS c.1957 – VERY RARE

Item Description: This pair of sterling silver candle holders stand 10-1/2″ tall and were hand made by the renowned Danish/Canadian silversmith Carl Poul Petersen who apprenticed under Georg Jensen before arriving in Montreal in 1929. He was hired by Henry Birks & Sons immediately upon his arrival. These candle holders were inscribed as a gift dated 1957 (see photos for details).
9. SET OF 6 ANTIQUE STERLING SPOONS – HENRY WILKINSON SILVERSMITH – SHEFFIELD ENGLAND -1904

Item Description: A set of 6 antique sterling spoons made by Henry Wilkinson Silversmith, Sheffield, England, 1903-1904. Each spoon measures 4-1/2″ long, housed in a velvet and satin interior lined leather bound holding box. The silversmith identification in the box is different than those of the spoons, therefore the previous owner married these items together, but nevertheless they compliment each other.

Sexton, Associate Editor, The American Architect. Published in 1926 by the Architectural Book Publishing Co., Inc., Paul Wenzel & Maurice Krakow, 31 – 12th Street, New York. Quarto bound in blue cloth with gilt titles on the front cover & spine, covered in a dustjacket, XLVIII, 268pp. Condition of the book is very good with heavy edgewear at bottom edges otherwise in a solid tight binding, very good plus interior, with a worn and chipped dustjacket, and minor pipe aroma. Includes an Alphabetical List of 70 Contributing Architects.
11. INUIT CARVED SCULPTURE MAN & WALRUS – LUCASSIE KUMAJAK – 1978 – POVUNGNITUK QUEBEC

Item Description: This hand made Inuit carved soapstone sculpture stands 12-1/4″ tall and is in very good condition. The signature underneath appears as an anglicized version of Lucassie Kumajak, Lukasi Ken. As indicated on the accompanying certificate the statue comes from Povungnituk, Quebec, way up north on the eastern edge of Hudson’s Bay.

Item Description: This unisex 14ct gold bracelet measures 8-1/8″ long and weighs 15 grams.
It is stamped 14ct and has been acid tested as such. It has a very solid clasp. This item is solid gold, not plated.
