Item Description: For sale is a spectacular old Antique 19th Century Amethyst & Silver Bracelet.

This is an absolutely amazing Antique Amethyst Bracelet.

European, circa mid to late 19th Century.

Set with seventeen faceted oval Amethysts weighing an estimated total of 22.38 carats.

The bracelet has a floral center with Amethyst flower petals and a Central Mabé Pearl.

The bracelet and clasp are set with eleven additional amethysts; the bracelet is edged by an oval link chain threaded through tubes on the sides of the bezel settings.

The eleven amethysts on the bracelet strap and clasp each measure approximately 9.0 mm in length and weigh an estimated total of 17.50 carats combined.

The six amethysts that form the central flower each measure approximately 7.0 mm in length and weigh an estimated total of 4.88 carats combined.

Some amethysts are slightly lighter or darker than others – this is due to the age and uniqueness of the bracelet.

This bracelet is from an estate and came with an old appraisal with the preceding information. The appraisal will be included.

The clasp is marked with several European silver hallmarks, but we have not been able to decipher them. Probably at least 800 (80%) Silver Purity.
