Item Description: A splendid 1955 Souvenir tin of the Coronation of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II. Tin made by G.F. Lovell & Co. Ltd. Original ‘Toffee Rex” paper label on bottom. Rare to have a tin in this FAB condition, displaying the Queen and The Duke’s portraits in unscratched deep colour condition. Made in England. Size: 8.5 X 6.25 X 1.25″ high.

Beautiful blue and pink tinting of a winter path, photo on embossed matte with pencil outline. Pencil titled, signed and located. All clean, wonderful wear patina on wood frame. Sealed dust cover. J.H. Allen Hamilton Allen (August 17, 1878 – December 25, 1969) He opened a photofinishing business in 1919, which he later developed into Allen’s Art Shoppe located at 505 Baker Street in Nelson, BC. Item Description: Up for sale is an excellent condition booklet of all things Vancouver! Full Sized 9 x 12 inch, B&W green-tint photographs. Their Golden Jubilee marked the 1886 to 1936 time period, and includes a message from then Mayor G. G. McGeer. There is a list of Who’s-Who from Vancouver’s Elite on their Committees, many beautiful historical photographs, maps, schedules, and a complete BONUS is the original removable “Tourist Guide and Key to the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, July 1st to Sept 7th, 1936”. An amazing book to display proudly in your home. Lithographed in Canada by the Vancouver Sun.
10. THOUGHTS OF YOU, 1910

Item Description: A beautiful little booklet (7.75 x 3.75″) entitled “Thoughts For You”, published in 1910 by Dodge Publishing Company, New York. The booklet is printed in Germany and contains 46 perfect pages of famous quotes. The front cover is embossed in silver and gold, with amazingly detailed red roses applied. There is a hand-applied miniature painting of some sort on the inside front insert. The booklet is hand-bound with a delicate silk ribbon, (broke at back see pic). The original shipping box is also included that shows a name and address mailed to in Paris, Ontario. A one-of-a-kind addition to your collection!

This HARDCOVER book is historical in that there is a signed slip inside, an original newspaper clipping, and a detailed, dated, account of who the author is to the original owner. Book in great condition, dust cover in good condition. A poetic and moving account of a Canadian Naval Officer’s life during WW2.
